7PDS Maintenance & Extended warranty

PRICING STRUCTURE

Ongoing maintenance

Whatever hearing enhancement system is installed, whether by 7pds or otherwise, it is essential to comply with the maintenance requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. We provide comprehensive maintenance contracts to ensure DDA compliance is achieved.

7pds Maintenance package includes the following.
  • 1 Annual visit to test, calibrate and certify your Induction Loop systems
  • 1 Call Out visit per system per year included should a fault be apparent (additional callouts MAY be subject to a charge)
  • Access to call-out service from 9am-5pm. Please note, that charges MAY apply for attendance outside of these hours)
  • All systems tested to the current British Standards BS7594 (the code of practice for AFILS (audio frequency induction loop systems)), EN60118-4 when correctly installed and with section 5.13 of the Disability Discrimination Act.
  • Certificate of conformity issued on completion of successful maintenance or call out visit.

Annual Maintenance Charges (Upto 200SqM, 4M maximum height room sizes)*

Annual Maintenance (first fitted or portable system per site) 

£145.00 per annum

Each additional fitted counter, reception or portable loop system per site (at same site or serviceable within same day at a nearby location, upto a maximum of 3 additional sites)

£25.00 per annum

Each additional fitted room induction loop or infrared system (at same site or serviceable within same day at a nearby location, upto a maximum of 3 additional sites)

£45.00 per annum

Call out service visit during normal working hours

There is no charge for a call where a maintenance agreement is in place

Out of hours call out service visit (outside normal working hours and Saturdays)

£80.00 per hour, calculated at half hour increments

Out of hours call out service visit (Sundays and Bank Holidays)

£115.00 per hour, calculated at half hour increments

*for room sizes over 200SqM, or over 4M height, special prices are calculated. Please contact us for a quote for maintenance on these room sizes.

EXTENDED WARRANTIES

In addition to 7pds maintenance agreements, it is also possible to take out an additional extended warranty* cover should your (7pds-maintained) fitted induction loop system equipment fail.

In the event of failure, 7pds will replace the failed equipment on a like for like basis where available, or with that most suitable for your requirements. This extended warranty covers all aspects of the installation, once an annual maintenance test has been completed and the equipment is deemed acceptable for cover by 7pds.

This cover includes;

  • De installation of failed equipment (which can be left at site for your disposal, or taken away by the 7pds engineer for recycling processing where possible)
  • Amplifier equipment
  • Cabling and connections
  • Microphones
  • Power leads and connections
  • Additional consumables such as clips and ties
  • Labour, and reinstallation on a mutually agreeable date.

Cost for extended warranty cover per annum per system is only £99.00 (in addition to the maintenance agreement charges applicable)
