Portable Clipboard

Designed for hand held use, no set up of this equipment is required. The clipboard induction loop system is supplied as a ready to go system.

When fully charged the battery will give up to 8 hours continued use. The battery is monitored at all times and is fuse protected. The unit will automatically switch off on very low battery.

When switched ON, the clipboard will operate for a continual 20 minute period. This default setting can be adjusted for up to 40 or 60 minute usage periods. A red LED light shows low battery levels and the unit will need to be recharged in the supplied ‘docking station’ charger unit. The clipboard can continue to be used whilst in the docking station if required.

The internal induction loop on the clipboard has a 1.2M radius from the top of the unit. The hearing aid user, when switched to the T position will be able to pick up the induction loop signal within this range.

To extend the range of the clipboard induction loop, an external microphone can be connected to the appropriate ‘jack plug’ on the top of the unit for desk or reception top use.

The clipboard induction loop system is ideal for use as an easily transportable writing surface in environments such as surgeries, hospitals and restaurants to assist with communication with hearing impaired persons.

An additional ‘vehicle’ charging unit (as shown left) is available to compliment the main charger unit supplied.
